The highly anticipated Asaase Radio Sound Clash came off last night and ended with self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale running off stage.
He left the stage with his backing fans immediately after performing his last song of the contest while Stonebwoy had not dropped his last song, a move seen by many as that he accepted defeat in the battle.
The heated Clash which lasted close to two hours saw both Artistes go in on each other by introducing back to back hits songs from their gallery, instead of the hardcore freestyles session that many had expected to witness.
But that was not the biggest disappointment of the night for the multitude of fans who voted, trooped the venue, or stayed up late to watch online.
At the end of it all, many more have been left disappointed and angry af organizers for their failure to announce a winner of the first Sound Clash ever held in Ghana 🇬🇭
They noted in a Facebook post a few minutes after the event, that a no winner was picked as the show achieved its essence of “Clashing to Crush COVID”.
We didn't get a WINNER, we had a CLASH!

The event which is probably the biggest most competitive musical event in Ghana according to promotion flyers sighted by Ebase Africa was supposed to award the Winner with a brand new car.
Though voting results released few minutes to the main event showed Shatta Wale leading with a slight margin, the performance plus the incident of his exodus from the stage at the end could mean to BHIM nation fans that their President has unofficially won the dancehall Clash.
Watch the video below. as we cross our fingers and wait to hear what organizers, fans, and entertainment pundits will say about it in the coming days.
